Filming has come and gone...and has come to a complete halt. With school started again, the weekends have become too busy to film. We are about half way done, at 45 hours of filming, and may only get about two more hours before the snow starts to fly. We'll probibly resume again in the spring.
Thanks,
Adam.

6 days to life (Or Filming)
Filming happens in six days. Scary, yes, but, i think that we are ready for it. today, i designed Waldorf's Mastercard, and the cover for the magazine "The Elfin Enquirer" (Both seen right). Lately, many things have been finshed around here, like the swords, all of which have been completed, and the costumes, which are being finished almost as we speek, are a big suscess. We are also working on the documentary "The Making of The Lord of the Earrings (A Parody).
Thank you for your interest in The Do a Jig Poduction company.

Bad News...
Finally, bad news has come. After months of preporation, it seems as though the weather will be the bane of this production. As it will be raining two thirds of the main production time, it seems as though we will have to postpone the filming one month forward, or the last week of August. Sigh...

The Weekend...
This May long weekend is great, isn't it? relaxing...may be a little cold...but the prime time to hunt locations and search (build) props. In an amazing garage sale this weekend, I met some very nice people who gave me a much needed prop that would be very hard to find (otherwise) and is very old -from the early 1900s, probably- perfect for the roll. Thanks very much to you.
Also this weekend - location, location, location. The perfect location for numerous scenes around the evil lands has been found. Beautiful place, really. Creepy too. I hope that it is not ruined by tourists when the time comes for filming - we may have to film those scenes in early June.
Also made some more swords for the film - we have many of them done already. The best is the sword of the Earringwreath - it is enormous. I'll post a picture of it when I have one.
Goodbye for now, and thank you for your intrest in The Do a Jig Production Company tm

Gimlet (3!)
There has been a creative way around finding a Gimlet. My rather young cousin shall be the actor who plays Gimlet, while my rather old uncle plays the voice of Gimlet. Interesting. It will be really funny when done. Ha!

Gimlet 2
Ha! How funny is that. But not a good thing. We don't have a Gimlet again. The actor who was cast can't make it to the filming...yikes. I am on a quest for a Gimlet again!

Everything Works out Just Fine...

The position of Gimlet has been filled...and the script is ALMOST done! The very ending is always the hardest...There are two diffrent endings in mind but we will do tests to see which one the general public thinks is the best. Costume design has begun as well. Right is a picture of Sewron the great's Costume. There are so many things going on here that it makes my head swim.
Have yourself a good day.
